My First Post

Hi.  At the suggestion of my 13 year old, here I am.  I must say that the thought has crossed my mind before, and I think I actually signed up but now that blog is in cyber-land.

Thinking about it - it's really a good idea.  Now I can quit rants on Facebook and just expand my thoughts here and save my liberal friends some stock in Tylenol.  Yes, I'm an outspoken conservative.  But that doesn't mean that I don't love my liberal friends.  It also does not mean that I cannot or do not see the common ground.  We're just people, right?

I received an email from a cousin tonight, who said that I was a little more left-handed than most and that was just fine since he was too.  It was a figurative statement of course.  But I tend to see the world a little different than most.  I am making the decision to let it all go on this blog - say what I mean, and mean what I say.  So apologies in advance.... o.k.?
